Who is this system for?
- Solicitors and Insurance companies who require information to assist Civil Litigation between the parties involved in a Road Traffic Collision.
What email address should I use?
- Access to the system is granted via an email address, therefore, please ensure you use an email address which can accept email replies and updates for all enquiries submitted. We would recommend a generic group email address, especially if you have multiple claims.
How do I access the portal?
- Each time you access the portal put in the email address you have chosen to use for your enquiry, then choose the button ‘request access’. A link will be sent to the email address. You have 29 minutes to access the portal via the link in the email. If you do not access the portal via the link within 29 minutes, you will have to start the process again.
When do I pay?
- Once you have entered details of your enquiry you will be invited to pay the search fee. The amount to pay will be highlighted in green. Click on the green highlighted amount and you will be taken to Pay 360 where you can make your payment.
How do I pay?
- You must pay by credit card or debit card. No alternative method of payment is available.
How can I check the status of my enquiry?
- You can do this via the portal. Access the portal as explained above, using the email address you used when you entered your enquiry. Under ‘My enquiries’ you will see a list of all enquires made under that email address. To find a particular request, you can do so by entering either your reference or the Police reference in the search function. Once you have found the enquiry, click on ‘Details’ and you’ll be taken to the individual enquiry screen, which will show the status of your request (details of searching also available in the help button under ‘My Enquiries’).
How will the information I have requested be sent to me?
- Information will be sent to the email address you provided. It will be sent securely using Egress Switch. You will need a free web-based Egress account to view/download the information.
